Guided Tour Information: 1. Guided group tours of Twin Lights are available to school, scout, church and other organization groups. To make a reservation for your group call 732-872-1814 . 2. The reservation should be made a minimum of 2 weeks in advance although the further in advance you make the reservation the more likely we will be able to accommodate you. A group wishing to tour during the spring should call between January and March due to  the popular demand for the tours. Fall school tour reservations should be scheduled as soon as possible when school starts in September. 3. When calling please specify the time you wish to arrive, the number in your group, group age and if there will be any time limit on the tour. Typical tour start times are 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. 4. Have a few alternate dates in mind as Twin Lights tour slots fill up fast . 5. Group tours are given Wednesday to Friday, and small tours can be accommodated Saturday morning.  Starting the Tuesday after Memorial Day until the Friday before Labor Day, tours are available Monday through Friday and small groups Saturday morning. Tours are not given Saturday after 12:00 noon and on Sunday. Group Size The Ideal size for a group is between 25-30 people. Larger groups are accepted if extra tour guides are available and ample time is given when making the reservation. (Smaller groups will also be accepted but they should have at least 10 people.) What A Guided Tour Consists Of The guided tour starts with a 15 min slide/film on the history of Twin Lights. Then the guide will conduct a tour of one lighthouse tower, the lens exhibit, museum and outside points of interest if weather permits.  Tours last between an hour to an hour and a half depending on group sizes.  Large groups who wish to shop at the Twin Lights Historical Society gift shop may require up to two hours or more. • Tour confirmations are available upon request • Teacher packets with historical information are also available upon request
